Warsaw (Puls Biznesu) – Trion launches a new business and is about to conclude acquisitions. It will present its biggest shareholder this week.

Trion group, including Humdrex, Synergis and Intur window and door producers as well as Orion+, a company operating in steel constructions, wants to invest in a new business.

“We want to deliver infrastructure for operators of wind farms. The wind farm market in Poland faces great perspectives”, Marek Grzona, Trion CEO said.

Trion wants to launch cooperation with two companies connected with the market of renewable energy. It is negotiating with two Polish companies.

“The opportunity to invest in a new business came suddenly. Cooperation offers from these two companies came when we were negotiating an acquisition of a company from Baltic countries specializing in steel constructions. Having checked the entity thoroughly, we decided that the price was too high. Today, we want to focus on companies which will let us develop the segment of renewable energy sources”, Marek Grzna said.

The group will this year invest PLN 10m (EUR 3.1m).

In a month’s time, Trion will decide about the acquisition. Funds for the transactions will be supported by an investment fund which in turn will acquire stock of the listed company and become Trion’s biggest shareholder.

“We will say who the investor is later this week”, Marek Grzona assured.

Before, PB had informed that Nova Polonia Natexis II fund may become the investor in question.
