Fortunately, other data from the USA, weakened the negative report from Merrill Lynch. There were positive data from the US labor market. European indices rebounded and WIG20 rose again but did not manage to come back to its high. It ended slightly up. mWIG40, the index of mid-caps remained unchanged.
Media stock was doing very well today, including
TVN with 7 percent jump and Agora with 4 percent up. Polnord construction
company and Bioton insulin producer whose medicines received approval from
Chinese authorities rose over 4 percent. Fuel companies turned out to be the
weakest stock today. PKN Orlen and Lotos were the few losers. KGHM copper
producer was falling as well on the news that its CEO was fired.
