General Electric is considering opening a teleinformation centre in the Wroclaw Technology Park (WPT) in which around 1,000 people would be employed.

It would appear that plans to locate the centre in Silesia have been continuing for some time. However the company is counting on offset orders which would be placed once the Polish government decides on which multipurpose combat aircraft it will purchase.

GE International has three factories in Poland in Klodzko in the south west of the country , Bielsko-Biala in the south and Lodz in the centre. It employs around 5,000 people and has invested around USD200m here.
