Following the press releases issued on September 13th, 2010 and December 20th, 2010, UniCredit informs that the disposal of 100% of UniCredit MedioCredito Centrale S.p.A (“MCC") to Poste Italiane was completed today. As part of the project promoted by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, MCC will become the vehicle for the creation of Banca del Mezzogiorno. The consideration for the transaction was €136 million. UniCredit will benefit from MCC’s result for the financial year 2011 up to the date of completion .
