Eska radio plans to have 35 percent of ad market Warsaw

Poland: (Puls Biznesu) Eska radio, which today has 8 percent of adult listeners, is going to be Poland?s biggest radio group within 2-3 years.

Poland: (Puls Biznesu) Eska radio, which today has 8 percent of adult listeners, is going to be Poland?s biggest radio group within 2-3 years.

It is to be achieved in two channels. Eska radio wants to increase its market share to 10-12 percent and get 20 percent of the radio advertisement market. CR Media estimated the radio ad market was worth PLN 366m in 2004. On the other hand, a catholic radio broadcasting company, to be launched this month, is to bring 7-10 percent of clients and 10-15 percent of ad market, according to Leszek Koziol, Eska CEO.

Their plans are very ambitious but Radio Zet also aspires to be radio leader and we are ready to compete here, Krzysztof Jaworski, sales director of RRM, selling ads for Radio Zet commented.
